To order a Preliminary Report please fill in the Ancestry Request Order Form and pay the requested payment of €20 by Phone: +353 (0)876230063 or email: info@shackletonmuseum.ie.

Payment can be made by credit card/cheque/bank draft
This fee covers an initial assessment of records e.g. Land Records, Census Returns, etc., you will be contacted with the preliminary report and advised on your next step.

Preliminary Report will outline:

• what records were searched,
• whether any relevant records were located for your family and
• what the cost of the details of the records will be. Eg: obtaining certificates etc.,

Further research will incur additional fees should you wish to proceed.

Note: On the Ancestry Request Order Form please submit as much relevant information as you currently know. If you need to add additional information please attach a sheet.
